This is old content from my previous blog, EveryGoodBoyDeservesFruit.com. Check out the A few people have suggested that I have appeared a little fragile recently, at least as far as my blog. This couldn’t be less true. In fact, as a chronic nail biter, my nails are starting to grow back to such a luscious length that I’ll not be surprised the first time I’m stopped on the street having been confused for Eartha Kitt.
So what have I been up to? I’m still working on my abundant casual rate. I’m thinking I might start hiring an assistant to follow me around as I bark orders like “I’ll have two of those… four of those, one in mauve…” My brother commented that the delivery guys know our address by memory. eBay has been kind to me, and I’m well on my way to having the entire series of Seinfeld on DVD. This was sort of sparked by my Joan-esque attack on my DVD collection throwing out everything that wasn’t… um… “purchased”. It was quite a display, hunched over my pile of DVDs throwing them this way and that without regard for who or what was behind me.
Other than that I’ve spent a few nights crawling up in bed with an episode of Murder, She Wrote and lulling myself off to sleep at 9.30. That’s right, I’m a man of disgusting luxury.

Tyson… the “not purchased” series of Nighty Night is waiting for you over at Greg’s place. I sometimes see a little “Jill” in you so I think you should watch it.

I bought the Seinfeld box set for my brother for Christmas. It has a special bonus disc with a reunion special where all the cast got back together for a round-table about what was good about the show, etc.
You’ll probably be able to find it online somewhere (or I can lend it to you), but worth adding as part of the “whole season” collection.
…the coffee table book is good too.

There? a major report out today in NSW about the forthcomng teacher retirement and the need to employ younger teachers NOW.
I agree that there is a great need for teachers to get out there an work! But I also have to say that as I new teacher it is proving quite difficult to do that. Ridiculous amounts of paperwork for every school, every type of school and every agency makes getting a job difficult. Then on top of that all for the schools want teachers with experience. In fact the only job I have been offered has been in YASS!!
So a seemingly random rant, but the point is… Tyson don’t rush into it!
