One of my birthday presents (aside from the piano, which was from me to me) was a barbeque for my balcony. Perfect for having people over. After setting it up, every time I tried to use it it was too windy. I persevered and eventually was able to cook some home made chicken kebabs despite the rain one evening. The taste of BBQ’d chicken is quite different to other styles of cooking. Along with the chicken I had capsicum, carrot, eggplant and pineapple – the cutting and skewering of which was a somewhat time consuming process – all covered in a Nandos Morrocan curry sauce. Turned out quite nice and simple!
I look forward to some balmy summer evenings on the balcony with some friends and some snags cooking up.
Come on, you love all that time consuming culinary stuff. Nice BBQ too.
Well – I actually do!
OOO count me in! I still have to come over and see your joint too. I’ll bring coleslaw.
Dont know if i should mention this, but one day while you were at work i drove past and saw a homeless man up on your balcony violating your BBQ ..
AJ: And the creaming soda!
Tammy: I might believe that if it weren’t for the fact that I KNOW you’re eyes don’t leave the floor above mine when you drive past.
